Lake Ray Hubbard. There is a nice little array of restaurants right off the lake. And some of them serve a really good margarita. Picture was taken right off the walking area next to all the restaurants and bars. Now as far as other access points to the lake, well good luck finding them. We drove all around trying to find some "park" areas but had no luck. There was one spot we found but the area was under construction and said stay out. Of course we didn't pay any mind to those signs, well until the cops showed up that is. They kicked us out, said park was closed. Even though there were lots of paths, picnic tables, and even a playground. Fun Facts about Hubbard

Travel Guide - Great Smoky Mountain National Park
The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Between 8-10 million people visit Great Smoky Mountains National Park each year, making it the most visited national park in the country. Best part about the park is it is FREE! You don't have to pay a fee to drive through it and see its beauty. There are a few smaller cities that you drive through to get to the Smokies if you are on the Virgina side. And the best way to describe these cities are a mixture of Six Flags, Las Vegas, and Fairs. Strip shops and weird rides and lots of food. Not to mention the biggest selection of Ripley's Beleive it or Not I have ever seen. They even have a Ripley's Believe it or Not Aquarium.

Wyoming Landscape
Black and White Photography
I am not much for black and white photography. More into looking at black and white than taking. But giving it a whirl. Even though this is probably more on the sepia tone. This photo was taken at Beavers Bend, Oklahoma. Great place for camping, or going for the weekend. Lots of fun stuff and great scenery.
Jewelry Photography

Jewelry Photography
I always hear how hard jewelry is to photograph. Here is my recent attempt at it. Seemed pretty easy to me. Couple soft light sources and a couple white bounce cards. This shot didn't take me long at all. It came out pretty good I thought. Shot with sigma 24-70mm lens.
Wine, better than beer?
Is wine really better than beer? Similar technique I used to photograph the beer. This one I was able to get nice rim lighting, and the black with white highlights make this image really pop. Used just one light source with an umbrella, pretty simple. Yet very dramatic.
Best tasting beer in the world
Tasty, shiny, mouth watering beer! The best part of this photo was drinking the beer after wards. I was trying out different photography techniques that I have been reading about in some books. Shooting on black in my opinion makes the yellow really pop. It was hard getting the foam to stay at the top while I was getting the perfect shot. And in case you were wondering it's a Heineken.
Acrylic Paints - Mixed Media
The other medium I use from time to time. Acyrlics.I was doing a painting and I noticed the tube was pretty interesting. So I switch from painting to setting up a photography shot.
